Microsoft has released cumulative update for WSS 3.0 on 24 Feb which has the following HotFix

• 961175 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/961175/ ) Description of the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 hotfix package (Sts.msp): December 19, 2008

This build of the cumulative update package is also known as build 12.0.6341.5000
